I believe the one I remembered distinctly was from Australia. You really want a view of how other countries see us? Just read their travel brochures. They don’t hold much back.
I’m having trouble finding it but I remember a foreign travel warning ad specifically for Florida in relation to their gun laws and things like open carry and castle doctrine. It even had a graphic with Florida itself done up to look like a gun. It was to warn people “hey you could get shot by some random asshat and it’s legal for them to do in Florida.”
