Brussel ordered PCC trams type 7700/7800. They were built under licence by La Brugeoise et Nivelles in Belgium between 1972 and 1973.
The difference was that the type 7700 are former 7500 being rebuild as bidirectional.

Nice to see the 39! But tbh, I’m quite happy the trams are being replaced, the doors are so narrow you can’t get in if you’re carrying something large.
I think it’s time to say goodbye to the PCC in Brussels. They did a great job since the 70s. But, they are not great for the actual use. For example, they are not step free.
