It’s sad but so many cities now feel like just a model tourist mall, copy and paste from the others.
The city I live in is pretty much the same, I avoid the old part of the city unless it’s absolutely necessary, which turns out to be maybe once a year, because the tourism is so fucking overboard that it’s impossible to walk by the streets.
