If you are talking about a singular person for more than a sentence it’s awkward as hell. They/them is just dumb for a single person outside of a single reference. This is in English of course.

      Roses are red,
      Violets are blue.
      Singular they
      Pre-dates singular you.

Man and woman is made up bro. Think we just found pronouns, and pink is for boys, blue is for girls, on the ground? See, it’s funny because that’s how colors used to be gendered! It’s all made up, none of it actually matters. What matters is not being a dick to people. You should try it.

And? Singular they is awkward to use many times in succession. I watched a video with a script full of they them for one dude wearing makeup and it was just constant cringe at how weird it sounded. Male and female are not made up. What genitals is a nonbinary person supposed to have?

Big yikes. That kind of enbyphobia isn’t welcome here. You can leave it at the door or get out.

Appreciate the edit. Please refrain from such comments in this mag in the future.

Lol nonbinary is made up bro. Be a man or a woman. That’s your choice.

Oh, so the edit wasn’t because I requested you refrain from that kind of talk. I guess you can get the fuck out.

Funnily enough, nonbinary isn’t made up, but pronouns are bro. They can be anything you want them to be. In fact, I’m quite close with 2 people who both use they pronouns, and you can’t stop them.

Oh I definitely know more than 2, I’m just not super close with those others.

…do you even reading comprehension bro?

It’s a fad so there’s a lot. Unlike dysphoria suffering transsexuals.

OK let me get this straight, are you OK with transfolks, but not folks betwixt? what a strange hill to die on.

Dysphoria is real and the medical intervention is transitioning. Nonbinary is not recognized and has no medical treatment.

How can you not at least understand what an intersex person is? People like you don’t even understand biology yet it’s all you want to talk about. It’s actually sad, just sad.

Bruh. Intersex is not nonbinary. It’s a medical condition and if they’re not a sterile (eunuch) they produce sperm or eggs never both. Also intersex is quite rare. Much more than trans anyway.

Because intersex is a mutation not a biological sex. You’re still just one or the other with some extra parts that don’t work.

The pronoun “they” has been used to refer to the singular since the beginning of time (or since it started being used in middle and modern English anyhoo). Love, someone with an MA in English Language.

        >implying intersex is both sexes

Intersex is one sex with possible mutations indicating the other. Also it’s extremely rare.
