Duh, the reason there’s Game Pass on PC is for people to stay on Windows. Microsoft saw the writing on the wall when Valve released SteamOS and scrambled for a way to keep people on Windows.

No, MS wanted to compete with PlayStation Plus. Linux constitutes about 2% of users on steam. MS doesn’t care about Linux gaming and steam OS is no where choose to being a threat to them.

I’m happy not supporting Microsoft’s worse and worse OSs. I’m happy running Arch and it just works for me. Unless a game is predatory or shit it works fine on linux.

As far as I can see it’s only streaming Xbox Cloud, so no they probably can’t supply one

You can use the game pass streaming thing through a browser on steam deck. Not sure if you can install game pass games locally though

I did before posting about it not being on Linux to be sure and saw posts about it not being on Linux. If you knew the name of whatever tool allows game pass games to run on Linux you easily could have said so it.
Give it some time. Valve is going to work overtime to get it Steam Deck compatible.

Linux isn’t officially supported anyway. That’s like saying it doesn’t work on PlatStation…

I love my Steamdeck, it’s great. But ultimately, most games aren’t originally designed to be played on there…
