You’re very welcome! It certainly is very exciting, it would just be the coolest thing ever to cary on conversation with another species!

I had no idea before reading this that the journalist was actually there for the recent birthing(first time a sperm whale birth was caught on camera if I’m not mistaken). There’s some cool video of the whales working together to hold the baby above water right after its born. Here’s the post with the videos and pics incase you missed it.

Oh I read the article last night, but didn’t see any videos or pictures, just New Yorker cartoons. Are there article-related videos and pictures in that article?

This newyorker post we are in now has no videos or images of it, but 3 days ago I made a post of an article that was just about CETI happening to be there for the birthing and that article has videos and images. That is the post that I just linked in my last comment. They must have more footage as well, so I’m hoping they release it!

Oh MaN that’s some crazy footage, that must be the best job.

I can’t believe how clear the drone footage is that you can see them carrying the baby, that’s amazing!

Very cool, it would be life altering. I can imagine sitting around with friends years later explaining how I got into marine research
