      Money=speech is one of the dumbest recent rulings of the SC, and there are so many other dumb rulings to compete with it.

        I mean, most people seem to agree with them. People listen to billionaires way more than they do your average academic making 100K/yr.

          I think most Americans realize they’re being shaken down, they just lack the knowledge to realize class solidarity and holding their representatives accountable is the way to fight this. Barely anyone I know contacts their congressperson and senators.

      Have you met the people? They’re stupid as fuck.

      They only care about how cheap their bills are. You’ll hear everyone say that they care about the environment, but once they know that in the short term it will mean higher electric bills they will vote against it.
