I was thinking the same thing at first, but actually, we only know the average, not the distribution of the average. So for all we know, they could have made 567,239,367 attempts in the first hour, and then spent an hour each on the remaining 19 attempts.
So for the last 20 hours you have made 7878.3 attempts per second? Maybe invest a bit more time into one big attempt
