minus-square@loutrlink8•6 months agoIt’s a proxy though, so it could inspect the actual content, detect ads and do something about it. Peertube, Grayjay etc bypass ads just fine so I guess it could be done with the webapp?

Well yeah it would have to MITM the connection, like Avast does.
