The way it is drawn, one can say the room is being observed from the perspective of another statue in a niche on the opposite wall. We can stretch this a bit a say the biggest fascist in the picture is the one looking as the scene unfolds and does nothing to intervene. As someone who’s country got rid of a fascism regime less than 50 years ago, that stings.
