I know of the sitewide rips on TorrentGalaxy, but they don’t have the newer stuff. Any site which tracks everything that gets uploaded to it?

Honestly Nebula is like the one site I don’t mind paying for. It was like $14 a year with a CuriosityStream bundle and has so many of my favorite creators. No ads, no sponsors, no merch bullshit. I’ve more than got my money’s worth and I’ve had it for less than 6 months.

Right now the price increased by a big margin, I wonder if at renewal it will keep it or not

I canceled my subscription due to the price increase. I recall it being about $10 or $12 / yr back in 2019. Right now is just too expensive

Yeah, it sucks that CuriosityStream dropped it at the $20 bundle price point. But I don’t even use the CuriosityStream portion so when it comes time to renew I might do the $30 Nebula only. Plus I’m sure that there might be a promo code or 2 by the content creators to keep the price down.

Think it depends on what you’re there for. I’ve got a number of creators I watch that are on there, and I watch a fair bit of curiosity stream, so it’s a no brainer for me too.

Bit harder to justify if you want it for a specific video or just one creator

Yeah, fair enough. Although, since I’ve subbed to Nebula I’ve found so many more high quality channels that the YouTube algo wouldn’t recommend to me. I feel like the content that I watch now is better for my brain rather than just mindless consumption. But I can totally see why someone wouldn’t be willing to shell out if they won’t spend as much time as I do and use it like a YouTube replacement.

Personally, I’ve stopped watching because they’ve allowed some bad creators like Second Thought to join, and there’s no block functionality. Personally I’d prefer to not see fallacy-filled tankie propaganda in my feed

Ok, but Nebula doesn’t force content on you. Your library tab is literally only channels that you subscribe to/follow. How is that worse than any other streaming service? Netflix and Amazon and HBO have plenty of content that I dislike and I just ignore it, even when it pops up in recommended.

There’s an actual block button on Amazon. Not sure if there’s one on Netflix, I havent had an accout with them for years
