We are a nation of rules and the rules are boring. Embrace that. In times of difficulty, go with the boring option. When faced with a frightening crisis, tamp it down with ultra-boring moves. No matter what, stick with the rules.

I can’t avoid talking about Donald Trump but I’m going to make it brief. I know you don’t like him; neither do I. But let’s assume he’s only a politician. He’s not Hitler, Godzilla or the Beast of the Apocalypse—just a guy with a loud mouth and a desperate need for attention. Most Americans think of him that way.

This is not about him. It’s about you.

The jury said yes to the legal NY definition of sexual assault, also known as rape.

The jury was not allowed to use the word “rape” in their findings because rape only refers to penises in New York.

The jury and judge agreed that he did violently force his hand inside Carroll’s vagina, which is rape, definitively.

It is weird that you’re supporting sexual assault, battery and defamation, and the jury and judge made it very clear that trump is responsible for rape.

    trump is a rapist.

Providing the facts is not an L.

        You’re agreeing with me:

The civil liability you keep referencing, that Trump committed “sexual assault” by forcing his hand inside Carol’s vagina without her consent, is rape.

        trump is a rapist.

That has not been proven in criminal court. Civil Court has vastly lower standards than criminal court. At best, you’ve proven that there’s at least a few people who think Trump is a rapist, which we already knew.

The judge and jury, who saw and heard the evidence, found trump liable for sexual assault (trump forcing his hand inside someone’s vagina), battery and defamation.

Those “few people” are fairly significant as they are the people tasked with determining the responsibility of someone’s actions, like trump’s rape of Carroll.

The question was whether or not Donald Trump committed sexual assault by refusing to let a woman leave, forcing his hand inside someone’s vagina, and then lying about it and trying to ruin the reputation of the woman he raped.

Judge and jury says yes, that is what happened.

Alrighty then, I’m going to take winter’s lead and bow out. There’s no point in arguing with you, is there?

Winter’s lead? Interesting, I’ve never heard that phrase before. What does that mean?

There’s no point in commenting misleading information or false premises, no.

I have tons of time and believe in accuracy, so making anything up or being deliberately misleading won’t work for you here.

                    Ha! Thanks.

And wow, that must be an ultra Mandela effect

I feel like taking his lead, taking their lead definitely means to imitate the behavior of another and just looked at all the major dictionaries because I was so confused by your link.

Take the lead vs. take their lead

Can’t believe that’s not in the dictionary, good find.
