If OP wants to learn admin stuff, why use docker for pihole? The install script is already very easy to use
OP would probably learn a lot more from using the install script and running “pihole -up” command once in a while
I remember my first rocker adventures. I was furious at it, it seemed so weird and complicated.
I felt like a 1337 haxxor when I got a shell in a docker container and hacked around something that would not be stored outside the container in any way.
