Ehh, I checked out after the “let players invade the single player experience”
I despise that gameplay where someone with the current overpowered meta build can just appear and ruin my play session. Doubly so if it’s causes some loss of progress.
For me it was “monopolize players’ time” That’s some draconian nonsense I don’t want
Basically why I hate how player notes and death ghosts are tied to player invasions in SoulsBorne games
That’s some extremely white bread tier advice. If this is what the professional game development community considers to be the state of the art in emergent gameplay, it’s going to be business as usual for the foreseeable future in AAA country.
Well this is the CEO of a publisher, so not sure what game dev credentials he actually has
