        Spoiler alert: both corporations and governments are mired in useless bureaucracy.

        They also have different failure modes that make them better at doing different things. The government would be absolutely awful at making consumer products, just as private companies are absolutely awful at providing healthcare.

        I have, and I’ve experienced government middle management and regular employees who just bludge all day and shuffle papers and face zero consequences.
