Am I the only one who does crossfit here?

I am a big fan of the methodology. I have my level 1. I plan to go for my level 2 this year.

    I’ve been to three gyms/boxes.

The first two were run by stereotypical gym bros. They were fine. But they smelled weird, had a haze of chalk dust in the air, were painted mostly black, and felt pretty unwelcoming. And the trainers talk about training and pushing yourself all the time.

The third one is run by a middle aged soccer mom who has a mostly female staff. The gym has a bunch of windows, a light colour scheme, incredibly clean, and no discernable odor. The trainers talk about food, their kids, and TV shows. It’s awesome.

CrossFit is great. For me, it needs the right environment.

It’s funny you mention that. A lot to have very dark themes. I had never thought about that. I love CrossFit because I just show up and to the workout.

I didn’t think that I cared until I went to the soccer mom place. It’s really nice.
