Although technically cast iron, i guess this doesn’t belong here, but I need some adivice on these machines, either on reddit or on lemmy. Any suggestion?

It’s die cast so close enough! Also the Reddit gestapo hasn’t arrived so no one is going to delete your post for posting something a little bit out of place.

I can’t say I have looked very hard, but I haven’t found a ‘Vintage Cookware’ sub.

    What’s the question?

What kind of advice are you looking for? I’ve got a grinder like this I use a couple times a year.

I also grew up have to crank the handle for my mother every summer.

Another place to ask questions is a canning or sausage making one.

It doesn’t really have an audience so you might not get any answers but [email protected] is that sorta idea anyway. Basically any iron products other than cast iron cookware. It’s only got one post though

Very cool. I remember my brothers and I fighting to be the one to crank it as a kid, when we went to my grandparents house. At the time, I never made the connection that this was turning those cute cows in the pasture that we went out to pet every morning, into the hamburgers we’d have for dinner
