I went to a Nugent concert once (Blue Oyster Cult was opening and the person I went with wanted to stay for him) and he straight up had a political rally in the middle of it. They didn’t even change the meaning of the song. They changed one lyric and the message remained the same. “Redneck” and “maga” are practically synonymous.

Imagine saying out loud that you don’t pay attention to what you’re doing when listening is what you’re supposed to do with music. They just admitted they have no idea how to listen to music. What a horde of idiots.
