Yea, conservatives tend to be all about conformity… Usually when it comes to school uniforms though it’s either about 1) controlling what women wear I.e. “an appropriate length skirt” or 2) prohibiting religious attire… Given recent conservative French views on the Hijab/Naqab etc… I’m guessing it’s #2 here and mostly driven by “great replacement” bullshit.
