Oh, like Trump isn’t gleeful at the bombing of Gaza! Mr Muslim Ban, who built his real estate empire on deals with New York Jews and actively courts the Evangelical Right, who believe the rise of Israel is essential to God’s Plan.

(To be fair there’s a lot of New York Jews who are adamantly against what Israel is doing now, but they don’t vote for Trump either)

I’ll ask an honest question here: What do you think Trump would be doing materially differently from Biden in the handling of this conflict? Israel has essentially been given carte blanche, weapons sales are continuing without congressional approval, and humanitarian aid to Gaza is severely restricted.

What could Trump be doing that’s worse than this? Sending in US troops to massacre Palestinians is about the only place you can go, and that doesn’t seem like him.

Trump would cut all US humanitarian aid to Gaza and of course also throw Ukraine under the bus, while of course grifting and setting himself up as dictator for life, and continue finding new ways to be horrible that I had never imagined, just like before.

Not everything that is critical of Biden is in support of trump. People are going to vote 3rd party or just not vote because of Biden’s support for what Israel is doing

As they should. Voters must show that supporting Israel loses elections, otherwise Genocide will continue.

What happens if in February or March Trump completely gets knocked out of the running somehow. Let’s just say he hypothetically dies and the GOP has to look elsewhere. How absolutely fucked would Biden be against an even slightly moderate seeming Republican?

This shit keeps me up at night. Trump is incredibly dangerous and needs to be put the fuck away, but I’m genuinely not sure how well Biden can do against anyone else…

      Polls say Biden loses. Hard.

Biden’s only shot at victory is if Trump runs.

Even against Ramaswamy, Biden’s odds are iffy. Fucking Ramaswamy.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Obama grew “animated” in discussing the 2024 election and former president Donald Trump’s potential return to power, one of the people said, and has suggested to Biden’s advisers that the campaign needs more top-level decision-makers at its headquarters in Wilmington, Del.

Obama has been even more explicit with people close to Biden, suggesting the campaign needs to move aggressively as Trump appears poised to quickly wrap up the Republican nomination.

Obama, who commands enormous loyalty and star power in the Democratic Party, is not alone in worrying about Biden’s weak poll numbers and his unorthodox bifurcated campaign structure.

That means any important move by the campaign is run by the White House first, prompting concern among some Democrats as they head into a turbulent contest that is likely to require immediate responses to fast-moving developments.

Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.), who is running for her state’s open Senate seat, has expressed concern to allies that she may not be able to win if Biden is at the top of the ticket, according to people familiar with the conversations.

On Friday, Biden held his first major official campaign event, traveling to Valley Forge, Pa., to give a speech blasting Trump as a threat to democracy on the eve of the anniversary of the attack on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
