Went to the SSA office the other day. I don’t always carry, but I do when downtown. I actively looked for a “no guns” post on the door, nada, cruised in and sat down.
Noticed the security guard looking at me a few times. Can’t speak for this guy, but a lot of LE is taught to spot a concealed weapon. Got a little paranoid and decided I better go put it in the car.
On the way back in I saw the “no guns” sign! It was plain as day, but there was so much other crap posted my eye skipped over it.
So yeah, the feds could have ruined my life over a simple mistake. Meanwhile, bad guys and scofflaws are going to carry regardless. So what are these laws meant to accomplish?
