I feel this would play out like the Simpsons “Snake Wacking Day” episode.
Soon the monkeys would escape and breed.
Then, because they are an evasive species, we will need something to eat them, then something to eat that something, until we reach radioactive gorillas.
I feel like “evasive species” is an improvement over “invasive species” because monkeys aren’t just where they don’t belong, they’re also clever enough to evade capture.
