After Trump said she won’t be his VP, all gloves are off. She is now fighting slightly more aggressively. Good for her. She should have done it from the start. I mean, she won’t win and will take votes from Trump. So I’m rooting for her so Biden will have a higher chance of winning.

        It kinda is though.

If she manages to get people to hate Trump, there’s a possibility that they won’t go vote at all, since there’s “two bad guys” there.

This decreases how many votes Trump would get but doesn’t decrease how many Biden would get, since, I’d guess, people won’t be deciding between her and Biden, but her and Trump.

Isn’t that essentially (one of the reasons) why Hillary lost in 2016? The left was divided between two candidates and neither won.

I can’t speak for everyone, but as someone who went all in on Bernie Sanders and donated money to his campaign despite being broke, because I wanted him to have every little piece he could get to win, I sucked it up and voted for Hillary Clinton. When I heard Donald Trump say he’d keep us in suspense about accepting the results of the election if he were to lose, that was all it took for me to put my whole heart into Clinton. I was terrified he’d win and I was terrified of what would happen if he lost. I’m still terrified. January 6 was a mess, and that mess isn’t even close to being over.

All of the Sanders supporters that I knew personally voted for Clinton, that’s just my little anecdote though.

Not really. Unless you want to argue that people who preferred Bernie wouldn’t vote for her in the general because they preferred Bernie in the primary. But I kind of suspect those people wouldn’t have liked her even if Bernie didn’t run.

But when she loses the nomination, will you hold your nose and vote for Trump?

They are probably one of many folks registered republican to vote in the republican primaries. Ive even met socialists who have done such a thing for local politics. I suspect your assumptions may be off as to how OP leans politically.

It would take a financial transaction of many zeros to get me to vote for trump. I’m a FOSS loving, state-hating, anarcho-socialist. I live in a closed primary state, so only party members can vote. I want to help split the GOP into the two worthless parties it should be.

I’m not sure about you, but I used to be a registered Republican. Though my views were more centralist.

I’m not quite sure when my centralist Republican views became extremely far left when my stance hasn’t changed since the day I was able to vote.

The first time I voted Democrat was Obama. What he did in the office is closer to a centrist Republican.

Right now I would kill to get another McCain or even a Romney.

I’m not sure where I’m going with this but I feel like sharing

Yeah no offense but I still think you’re a piece of shit if you think McCain or Romney are good people to put in charge.

You’re story is also boring. If you’re so upset do something about it.

No offense taken. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.

Romney might have brought Romneycare(universal healthcare). We might not have a shit senate that was hell bent on stopping every justice Obama tried to appoint. We might still have RvsW. We might not have Trump.

These are all mights. Who cares. Just vote in 2024.
