In doing so, I learned that after sentencing the convicted person voluntarily report to prison. They had to process a number of people who were sentenced to prison but never reported.
I, like you, expected people to be transferred from court to prison after sentencing. That was a shocking revelation for me.

Good to know. So my guess is this guy is never going to spend a single day in jail.
