Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, said Israeli air strikes across Gaza in the past 96 hours killed two Israeli captives and seriously wounded eight others.
“Their conditions are becoming more dangerous in light of the inability to provide them with appropriate treatment. The enemy (Israel) bears full responsibility for the lives of those injured in light of their continued bombing,” the statement said.
I’ve always thought Israel’s tactics were strange when their plan is to get back hostages. How do they know for certain or not that where they are bombing contain the very people they’re trying to save. Which makes me think they never really have cared for the hostages and are just using them as a casus belli.
Do they want the hostages back? They have some interesting strategies when it comes to people who might become hostages… maybe they just want Hamas not to have any live hostages.
I guess what I meant to say is that they should and seem to try to protect the image of wanting them back. Whether or not that’s true, who knows. But my money is on they don’t.
