The anti-spez crows likes to paint people who keep using Reddit as sheep. But are there people out there who actually think he’s doing a good job?
Can we just leave reddit behind and enjoy the fediverse for what it is?
there are a handful of communities related to Reddit (which is fine imo), so I really don’t get why some people post Reddit related posts in random/unrelated communities (like this one) and bother people who don’t want to hear anything about it
Agreed, let’s stop talking about our ex and move on. :)
Agreed

This doesn’t seem like the best place to get an answer to that question. It’s like trying to gauge the popularity of Foster Farms by asking people at a vegan convention.
Yeah, he’s doing a great job. Hell, he’s the reason I’m here.
There are people who think Trump did a good job, that he and Epstein didn’t rape little girls, that Elon is a business genius, that Madoff helped regular people make money, and that Hitler did nothing wrong.
There will always be people that stupid. Unfortunately.
that Elon is a business genius
Spez is on record as being one of those people. The only person in tech who looks at Twitter and thinks “yeah, that’s what we need to be aiming for!”
The candy’s not great but the dispensers are fun.
Future investors, based on how many ads he can force to users
uBlock Origin: You have no power here.
uBlock origin works in your browser. It cannot do anything about what your OS and apps collect and report and advertise
Sometimes you can make choices to use apps and an OS that won’t invade your privacy though.
As long as one keep using Reddit in the browser then you’re good.
For the OS and mobile apps then you can go one step further and block that at the network/DNS level.
His mom
Gonna need proof on that.
There are people who post in support of reddit, like “Apollo guy crying cause he lost his free money train!” (which is a really ridiculous take, obviously) but it’s hard to distinguish whether they truly believe that or are being trolls or jerks who are contrary for the sake of it.
I believe the majority of reddit users aren’t involved enough to care, and if they’re aware of reddit’s behavior, they write it off like “that’s business” or just think it’s all fine.
