    Only if I think I have much to benefit by doing so, i.e. if I have a problem and someone asks how to solve that problem more succinctly than I could.

      For the record, that is much more helpful than just posting a link to the original comment. There’s nothing worse than finding your exact question, the answer is just a link to a now dead site and the only comment afterwards is “exactly what I needed, thanks”.

      That’s worse than the Denver Coder situation.

      Yea, you’ll occasionally see the perfect answer to a question - passing on that information is helpful for everyone.
