@ralen_jor I’m glad to say that I will be slowly removing myself from not only META-based socials but also most Centralised ones as been enjoying the Fediverse so much better and I much prefer if people just message me through here.

I never really understand this comment about Olive Garden. Unless you live under a rock, you don’t go to Olive Garden for authentic Italian food. You go there for cheap, filling food, and a metric fuckton of breadsticks.

I had to visit it when I was in US. I’m a European and thought the tomato/shrimp/cream carbonara was hilarious. No need to go again.

Where are you from that they think this?

Usually most chain restaurants are not considered fancy. Though there are some classier chains that people might consider fancy. Olive Garden is not one of them.

If they don’t have any other Italian options, Olive Garden might be ok. Also, fast food brands can vary a lot around world.

That being said, Olive Garden is pretty mid.

I have essentially stopped using it for the last few years. Last time I used it was months ago and that was for Facebook Marketplace.

For a while I would like a few posts and reply to the usual handful of birthday wishes but I stopped doing that. I’ll just hit up my friends and family directly.

My Facebook is up strictly for the marketplace. I haven’t posted, liked, or looked at anything in years. I do use it to buy and sell stuff though. I find I have more success with the Facebook marketplace than with Kijiji, for both buying and selling.

This is an accurate representation of my Facebook until I removed anyone who wasn’t an actual friend. I only rarely check it, anyway, so I don’t want to see a bunch of people I don’t care about spouting nonsense when I do look.

Deleted it permanently (waited until after the reactivation period and tried to log back in just to make sure it was completely gone) 3 years ago. Never going back to that cesspool.

Unless you’re in the EU, your data is unfortunately still there. You just can’t access it.

The idea of deleting facebook seems goofy to me. Just don’t go on it. Its just a way to communicate with folks I know if I can’t get in touch with them otherwsie and likewise. If they chat me it will email me and let me know and then I go on to see what they need. Used it just the other day to checkin on an old workmate when a tornado came close to where he lives.

Hey it’s me! Your high school friend who never addressed their insecurities and made their entire life about how they don’t live somewhere and what restaurants they eat at.

Anyway, here’s an article about how I perceive everything as racist so I can continue feeling superior to everyone

I like this. Let me trade all the information I can provide about myself for more of it. It’s going to be free right?

No one ever said that, just that the personality type describes in the OP definitely involves having never left home.

Squares and rectangles sort of thing
