I was unfamiliar with Astro Boy as a kid. I totally remember this storyline with him messing with his hair for school picture day, but I never understood what Astro Boy was until now.

Wait, Calvin is gen X or Y? I suppose he stayed six years old from 1985 to 1995, so maybe a bit of both?
I chose Xennial because he started as Gen X but was still 6 in the 90’s and could have also technically been a millennial and as a xennial myself, the “I was into X before it was cool” was widepsread in my 20’s.
I definitely didn’t get this reference as a kid.
