Research suggests every extra step up to 10,000 reduces risk even if rest of the day is sedentary
I’d rather the title said above 9000 steps rather than below 10,000 steps, since the 10,000 step thing is long debunked as a marketing ploy.
I’m glad we have this kind of research being done, it just sounds fishy having a 40-year-old commercial slogan so prominent in the article
