alt-text: there’s laundry to do and a genocide to stop. I have to eat better and also avoid a plague. my rent went up $150. I’ll need to pick up more shifts. Twenty people died in Rafah this morning and every major news outlet is stretching the limits of passive voice to suggest whole families may have leaped up through the air at missiles that otherwise had the right of way. I just got a notification that my student loan payments are starting up again and my phone isn’t charged. My cousin got COVID for a fourth time and can no longer work or walk or even feed himself. The person across from me on the L train seems to fashion themself a punk rock revolutionary, but they’re not wearing a face mask, and that’s the kind of cognitive dissonance that makes me want to steal batteries. Fascists keep winning primaries for both parties, and I think I gained a few pounds. The CDC just announced there are no more speed limits on highways, and I think this Ativan is finally hitting. The NYPD farmer’s market only sells bad apples, have you heard that one? Listen it’s warm today, too warm for March. But I don’t have time to think through the implications because there’s laundry to do and a genocide to stop.

You’re in the right. Doomerism that “both sides are just as bad” is what Republicans want people to believe. Did Biden lead an insurrection? Not that I’ve heard of. Thinking both sides are just as bad is a childish perspective.

Both sides can be bad in my view. We are at a point of choosing the lesser of two evils.

They are bad though. On the one hand a Palestinian lost all 60 members of his family and several thousands died. On the other hand a Palestinian would have lost all 60 members of his family and several more thousands would have died. It is hard for that Palestinian to appreciate the difference and infinitely harder for his family to appreciate the difference.

Biden is pushing for a ceasefire and sanctioning settlers, while Trump said that Israel should “finish the problem”.

If you consider a Palestinian who hasn’t lost their family yet, there’s a pretty obvious difference between the two candidates.

He literally sanctioned 3 settlers, and hes been lying for weeks now about how this supposed temporary truce is happening any minute now. Meanwhile he continues to offer vocal and physical aid to Israel.

          Fuck off with the bidenoganda.

It was more than 30 settlers in the first batch, and it was clear that they wouldn’t stop there.

And it’s Hamas that is delaying the truce at this point, because they either don’t know where their own hostages are, or the hostages are all dead already and they don’t want to admit it.

            Fuck off with your lies.

What you are saying is an atrocity; I agree with you wholeheartedly. Regardless, I will still be voting against the person who led an insurrection and who paved the way for women to lose their rights to bodily autonomy in Roe v Wade. It’s an easy choice.
