Systemd is very customizable and flexible. I also fine it is faster than anything else. You can also choose what systemd services to use and what not to use

Everybody uses Arch btw, can’t quit Vim, <loves/tolerates/hates> systemd, and wants to interject for a moment. You can stop now.
