H22A1. Guy said it makes 360 HP on 10 lbs of boost. Weight plus driver is 2,500 lbs. I asked him why an H instead of a B or K. His answer: “Nobody else is doing it.”

As a Prelude owner, I immediately recognized the H. They’re excellent engines that never had their time in the sun. Mad respect.

Here’s a few others I liked

SW20 MR2

Ford Falcon

And then this guy showed up with a Countach so my dreams of having the coolest car there are shattered lol

One of the weirdest swaps I’ve ever seen! Thanks for sharing

Brings back memories. H22 swapped EG and EK’s were the “cheaper” way to pump over 200hp back in 2007-08 where I live. That was in the times when we started to get JDM TypeR engines but those were often more expensive than the car they were put in. So many people either went the B20 Frankenstein version (CR-V block with GSR head mostly) or H22 since these were domestic and almost half price from ITR or CTR drive trains. I remember seeing ONE K swapped civic, they were unicorn rare in those days.

I remember those times too! The only downside to the H22 was the additional weight over B16/B18. As long as you are going straight it doesn’t matter.

I got to ride in an H22 swapped Accord a few times. After owning two Accords I could definitely feel the difference.

I’ve run into a few head scratcher swaps over the years. Most of the time they just had the engine sitting around.

2500 lbs with 360 HP has got to be a hoot to drive.

Man! That Countach was light years ahead of its time. It still looks like an amazing and modern car.

Lots of antique American classics there. Plymouth Duster, Pontiac Tempest, some 1st gen Camaros, a '66 Mustang, and a few pickup trucks. I’ve seen a few people driving around in town in kei cars that would have been cool to see there. Someone showed up with the cleanest 4th gen Camaro I’ve ever seen. 50,000 miles. Paint was perfect. It turned lots of heads. There was a W210 Mercedes-Benz E320 wagon for sale for $6,000. For 200,000 miles, if was immaculate. The owner had records with him too. I’d have offered $4,500 and seen where I could have gone if I had the money lol

And you just know someone came in a Joker car.

That engine looks almost comical in that Civic. Preludes have really long hoods so you don’t get a sense of how big the engine is until you see it in something else. I love those wide, flat valve covers, too. Very futuristic.
