Why do people have a problem with this particular individual? I feel a bit put of the loop.
Some conservative rag published a story and accompanying tweet along the lines of something like “Sydney Sweeney proves woke is dead” with a picture of her on the red carpet with a revealing low-cut dress.
Like as if “woke” even meant “no cleavage allowed” or some shit. They’re basically high on their own farts.
Wow, that is pathetic.
The goal is to show shit at the wall and see which bits stick. Whether it’s anti-woke outrage from the far-right conservatives or look-what-the-deplorables-are-saying-NOW outrage from the center-right American liberals, every reaction is a metric in a Big Data analytics package that can be used to taylor subtleties into other messaging, or to know when the dam could break on an issue. Are people sicks of the “transes” yet? Can we outlaw communists? What if we did put black people back in chains, you know, for their own good? Would Americans shrug it off yet?
And if you think my examples hyperbole, I promise that some shitty christofascist think tank somewhere is doing the numbers on all of that. It’s fucking gross. Why are we such a broken species?
