Seriously, the long call in times are the worst
I refuse to do the ones with the obscured maps anymore. “Close 13 bugholes… but we aren’t going to tell you where they are :D”

I think you can indeed see them on the pre-dive map, but during the dive the red areas are just static. You can see that they don’t move when you pan the map and that zooming in or out does not change their size
I’m thinking these modifiers should be optional difficulty boosters that grant extra XP/Requisitions. However, that would break the “prolonged attrition” meta of the game.
The game is piss easy without modifiers. Also, they kind of are - when defending a planet, the modifiers don’t exist. Probably a bug, but worth checking out. We only play defense if it’s an option
Never can tell what’s a bug and what isn’t with this game. But I sure hope that’s not one. The defense evac missions are so overtuned (possibly bugged themselves still without dev comment to my knowledge) that I’d venture to say anything 7+ would be impossible with even one modifier.
It shouldn’t apply to extraction or reinforcement.

Yeah 4 minute extracts are caused by the increased call in time modifier. They suck ass.
