This is the solution to every example of the “pink tax” but they don’t want to hear it.

I mean, telling someone to ignore the things that are actually built for their body and to buy things that likely won’t perfectly fit their body is hardly a solution. At best it’s a bandaid. Just give women pockets dammit!

They sell women’s clothing with pockets, full sized, functional pockets you can literally go google it and find heaps.

Women keep buying the shit without pockets, that’s on them.

          They? Who/where?

Not Target or anywhere else my daughter and wife shop. They would love a source of real pockets.

PS: yes I will Google it but I will be surprised if these are brick and mortar stores. I hope so. But… Buying clothes online sucks ime.

Target absolutely sells dresses and skirts with pockets. I have bought several.

I said online not brick and mortar. Physical stores aren’t going to sell niche items that women aren’t buying as often.

Buying clothes online is basically all I can do as I can’t find clothes that fit me in stores. It sucks infinitely less than before I could buy stuff online.

They’re niche because women don’t buy them.

From what I understand it’s because bulky pockets full of stuff aren’t visually appealing to women whereas men will rock cargo shorts and look like idiots without caring.

This is the dumbest fucking argument.

Women dont buy clothes with pockets because they’re not in stores as much.

                  Just shop online!

Idk how often you actually shop for clothes online but getting something that:

                  • Fits
                  • Has pockets
                  • Won’t fall apart in a couple months

Is far more difficult than you’d expect. Broadly speaking, women want pockets, but expensive purses exists so capitalism’s gotta go do it’s thing.

Right it’s a global conspiracy by big purse! That’s the real dumbest fucking argument.

Fact is clothes with pockets exist, yet women don’t go for them.

And don’t give me that quality crap when shit like Shein was able to explode in popularity.

                    It’s about looks over function.

And as I’ve previously mentioned, I’m someone who buys the majority of their clothes online because stores don’t cater to me, it’s not hard to find quality clothes with a few seconds of searching.

Literally the dialogue I had with a friend:

          • Handbags are ugly and unhealthy, they were pushed onto women by men, and are generally terrible. We should get rid of them
          • But where am I supposed to put all my stuff then?
          • Pockets
          • But I don’t like the bulges they create
          • Yeah, right, but you do look beautiful with that suitcase on your shoulder and the crooked spine will fit your style well
          • No, you don’t understand, I mean, even empty pockets make clothes appear baggy and inelegant just from the extra fabrics and seams needed for them
          • Suuure… Well, you do you, I guess…

Felt like pushing against the wall. Either Im fundamentally misunderstanding something abot female fashion, or some of them are too indoctrinated by it to even consider any alternatives.

My wife buys men’s razors, deodorant, and a bunch of other stuff. Many women’s products are exploitative, expensive garbage.

Yet I’m annoyed because it was successful. Now I have razor cartridges all over the counter and no idea which is mine. I can see my shaver handle was used but don’t know if she used my blade or swapped cartridges, and which may be mine. Hell, I may not even know which handle is mine: how are they all out on the counter when mine is put away every time. Worst of all: I put the effort into stocking extra cartridges for my shaving needs so how are we always out and no one will let me know when they take the last one?

Personally, I only use razors twice before tossing them since they dull pretty quickly. I can’t tell just by looking.

Not knowing how many times a particular cartridge was used would bother me. Wouldn’t be a yuck thing.

Nothing the guy before you said was explicitly thing, either. Two legs are 10x the surface area of a face. Though the hair might be thinner (the word might is doing some having lifting) it has surely been dulled by the time you’re finished. A fresh razor can be the difference between a clean chin and razor burn all over your neck.
