Tbh, I’m not worried about his dating life. My son is 15 and is dating (USA). Teenagers get together and break up. Learning to respect girls boundaries and his own, emotional growth, etc. That’s normal.
What I am worried about is his getting a driver’s license in a time of rising traffic deaths, him trying drugs laced with fentanyl, buying into right wing ideologies that target boys like him or getting roped into a high control group.
But something that really, really helped me when I was that was having a parent that open, honest, and frank about those things. The fentanyl thing wasn’t around yet, thank God, but she did have the laced drugs conversation with me, and even offered to get weed from her guy that she trusted should I start to get curious about trying it. If I were growing up today, I’d imagine she would probably order some of those drug purity test kits to keep around, just in case.
Oh I’m worried about that, too, especially the right wing shit. But if he’s having trouble dating that’s not exactly something I’d just brush off. That can have some bad consequences, too, boys can get into dangerous risk-taking for girls or get roped into incel stuff… and right wing shit, too.

That shit is life altering if not ending.
Not a parent, so y’know, grains of salt.
