Having said that, random people get so bent out of shape about the most ridiculous, inconsequential things and it can be close to impossible to predict who it’s going to be or what is going to set them off.
That’s no lie. I was looking up a water pump for a couple of guys one time. They needed it for their 80 something vette. As I was going through the motions I came to the model, and asked them “corvette or chevette?” I thought they were going to come across the counter and beat my ass. My manager had to take over the sale and try and calm those meatheads down. It was a legitimate question yet these two idiots took offense.
