This is a very weirdly written article. Like the author doesn’t know that it’s one studio that made the games he’s comparing, but that comparison is 50% of the content.

Also, is it just the sale that is causing it to surge? Has there been a recent update that has improved the game?
as far as i know the devs abandoned it in january 2023, so i’d assume just sale
It also left Game Pass somewhat recently, which could maybe contribute.
It was an ok game, if the sale* included the DLC that would have helped.
But the card modifiers just never fit to me.
