charts like these have always made me wonder. I do not know of anyone who is a swirfty or into swift but might hear the music from radio or other media inadvertantly. like other pop no real opinion around it. are the fans like these large isolated colonies of people spread through the country?

I can tell you that when she was in Boston, the number of cars I saw that did the high school sports thing of painting on their car and full on decorating that they were going to Taylor Swift that I saw a good hour and half north way before her concert started was silly.

Nah, she’s huge across the country. You don’t want to be driving within about fifty miles of one of her shows the day of.

I personally know ten people that have driven to multiple states to see her multiple times as the tour moves. It’s fucking crazy.

And that’s just shows. She isn’t as rich as she is because she lacks dedicated fans.

Hell, I’m a low key fan, just not one that’s automatically into a given song or album just because she makes it. But my best friend’s husband? The only pop star higher in his esteem is Britney. They went to a Swift show last year, year before maybe? Drove into the city so they could catch a plane, then stayed the weekend wherever it was. Thousands of dollars spent just for a concert. And, again, she’s not even his favorite (and my best friend is like me regarding her music).

That’s two middle aged dudes. You don’t wanna know how rabid younger fans can get.

      Swifties are everywhere lol
