when asked for a refund purism bullshitted their way into stalling and ultimately denying it
their claims about freedom are baseless (fsf’s ryf standard is idiotic)
their claims about security are bonkers
they just sell snake oil and then don’t even ship it
Can’t say I’m too surprised. Years ago I bought from them a librem 13 and what I ended up with was just an overpriced crappy laptop, so substandard for modern day usage that it’s now basically a 2000$ paperweight.
Like yeah it runs coreboot, cool, everything else (battery, stability, performance compared to paper specs, etc) is just junk. And “it runs coreboot” is a far cry from all the numbo jumbo they tell about security and privacy.
