The Supreme Court on Thursday issued a ruling upholding the funding structure of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, a key consumer watchdog and banking regulator.
This court has been so brazen with their bullshit that now when they make a decision that isn’t awful, I’m automatically suspicious.
I am too. They’re probably trying to get good will going when trump loses his fraud, ny court case and they try something. His case isn’t going well for him, but there still is a chance he’ll get out of it. They’re biding their time.
Friendly reminder, 5 out of 9 SCOTUS seem to have taken bribes (from this guy they’re talking about):
- Jane Roberts, who is married to Chief Justice John Roberts, made $10.3 million in commissions from elite law firms, whistleblower documents show Note: It’s not in the title, but he presided over one of their cases.
- Calls for Clarence Thomas Impeachment Vote After Report Exposes Billionaire-Funded Trips
- Kavanaugh accuser Ford testifies she ‘believed he was going to rape’ her & The Mystery of Brett Kavanaugh’s Baseball-Ticket Debt
- FBI interviewed individuals who accuse Amy Coney Barrett faith group of abuse
- Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor’s staff prodded colleges and libraries to buy her books
- Justice Samuel Alito Took Luxury Fishing Vacation With GOP Billionaire Who Later Had Cases Before the Court
- Law firm head bought Gorsuch-owned property
Corruption needs to be made illegal and harshly so; at a bare minimum, you should lose the office and be barred from holding any other government office.
It’s already illegal, it needs to be enforced. But by who?
Yeah, I got to wondering about that after I made the comment. That’s not an easy question.
