After months of complaining that Starfield has not had any truly major patches since its September launch, there is finally one that I would classify as suitably big.
Same. The mind bending decision to jump into New Game+ and the game removes all of your settlements & ships makes the whole building aspect pointless to me.
Yup! I had been avoiding storyline spoilers and didn’t realize an NG+ existed until after I put in 100+ hours into my first experience. I usually slow roll main quests because once I beat the game technically, I find it harder to engage interesting side quests… then I realized there was space wizardry and shit and just sort of shrugged and decided to wait for a patch/mod.
Waiting for a mod is traditionally not an awful idea - I played Oblivion at launch and thought conjuration looked fun only to essentially soft lock myself due to that absolutely shitty leveling system.
None of this really sounds interesting enough for me to come back. I think I’ll just wait until the expansion comes out to come back
