The fear of water is a neurological symptom; when those show up rabies is almost guaranteed to be fatal. Assuming this wasn’t a troll post, they wouldn’t need to worry about going to the doctor (or rather, not) for much longer anyway.

My child is afraid of water, could it be due to this completely unrelated thing that just so happens to be related if you know anything about rabies.

This is very fake or very much a troll.

It may not be fake. There’s a fairly new disorder called ARFID that the kid may be dealing with.

It’s worth talking to a pediatrician in this situation.

Edit: but actually, the image definitely seems doctored.

I hope it’s fake, but that’s textbook rabies my friend. Once you’ve hit that point, you should still talk to a pediatrician but it’s just to make them comfortable, it’s too late.

Yeah, but no one is going to connect the fear of water with the dog bite unless they know what rabies is.

Satire isn’t dead, it’s just that 90% of people are blind to it unless it has “THE ONION” all over it. Then only 80% of people are blind to it.

I mean it kinda feels like a joke at the expense of religious nut jobs.

I’m hoping that this is fake, but given my faith in humanity, I would not be surprised.

I can only hope fake, but there’s no shortage of morons.
