I’m also wondering this, as Steve Mould has been pushing Incogni lately. With no evidence to support this idea, I don’t think it’s an outright scam. But, as with all services that advertise heavily on social media, I highly doubt that it is entirely what it says it is. At best the service simply doesn’t work. At worst they are spreading and confirming the data they claim is being deleted.
