That was a fun hot ones. Struggled, but sent it anyway. Nothing to promote or sell. Some fun anecdotes. I liked it! Hope more F1 drivers get to go on the show.
And then even went back for more.

Why does a vegan go on a show promoting the consumption of animal limbs
It’s more about the sauce than what you put it on.
Why do you think that?
They’ve had plenty of vegans/vegetarians on the show in the past. They just use cauliflower wings or some other alternative.
Also, it’s a show called “Hot Ones”. They have 10 hot sauce bottles prominently displayed on the table right in front of both the guest and the host. What about that makes you think that the focus is on the chicken, rather than hot sauce? Have you ever watched it, even once?
What about that makes you think that the focus is on the chicken
The chicken advertisement link in the description
The only food promotion is the sauces.
There is two promotion urls in the bio, one for sauce and one that goes to “Frozen Meat, Poultry & Seafood” but even if it was not a paid promotion, it is still normalizing the killing of animals
I know you have good intentions, but I just want to point that animals getting killed is part of the natural cycle and it happens in the wilderness literally millions of times a day.
That’s the worst argument towards veganism.
The two best arguments in my opinion are: the meat industry produces a ton of CO2, and we could feed more people with the same amount of land.
I’m not entirely in support of veganism since I think that some animal protein is essential for the average person’s diet. But I certainly agree with the 2 reasons above.
The average American gets about twice the protein they need.
Nearly all foods have some protein, so it’s difficult to have a protein deficiency without a calorie deficiency.
Animal protein comes with cholesterol, which no plant-protein has and people tend to have too much of.
Plant-based protein from whole food comes with fiber, which people tend to have too little of.
It took me a second, but your name cracks me up.
Also, agree.
I think the ethical argument is the strongest.
“animals getting killed is part of the natural cycle”
The 80 billion animals a year we kill are in farms and not part of the natural cycle (96% of the land mammals by weight are human or farmed animals) but if you meant to say there is wild animals that kill other animals and that makes it morally correct then what do you think of lions raping each other? Is that now also morally justified?
rape is not a reasonable term for what happens between non-sapient animals.
Okay take my same argument but replace rape with killing their own babies which lions do.
different species have different lifecycles. why shouldn’t a lion kill its young? theer is good reason for people not to. but the same doesn’t apply to food.
My guy, I’m glad you have the energy to defend your values, but as I said, you’re holding on to a bad argument.
Your argument is an appeal for emotion. You’re saying “we’re killing millions of animals! Isn’t that awful!?”
This argument doesn’t work because of 2 things. Many people disagree that killing for meat is unnatural and many people do not align with the intensity of your emotions towards animal death.
Both of those points are highly dependent on personal opinion, that makes it really easy to discuss and disagree.
The arguments I presented before are facts and cannot be dismissed by personal opinion. You simply have to argue on what makes people accept these bad figures and why they should not
And to answer your question about lions and rape. The lions sexuality is not part of my human instinct or nature, so it does not concern me. On the other hand, eating bone marrow and hunting for meat is essential to the development of the Homo Sapiens and it does concern me as my body, like my ancestors, was made to eat meat.
I don’t have to eat meat although it’s healthy, and I would like to produce less CO2 although my health comes first. I don’t know how to balance those 2 conflicts
I really want to help you here, so please give this topic a thought
Lmao there’s no escape
