    Oh, dude. If it’s in a small/weird place and you’ve got a little rubber-strappy grabber that isn’t doing you justice, you gotta get onna those oil filter sockets. It was so fast I was mad i didn’t get one like ten friggin years ago.

      Yeah turns out that there’s an intake brace in the way that’s just 3 bolts. Also whoever did this last oil change really muscled the thing down too. I do need to get the right size socket though, they are good.

    I’d also add you should definitely just remove the intake manifold bracket that’s squarely in the way if it’s not gone already. Does make the job a good bit easier

    I 3D printed a socket to make the job way easier. Still a bit annoying to get to, but easy to apply the required torque
