I said it when Fallout 3 came out:

Only Bethesda could make post apocalyptic hookers boring.

The stories of sex work in Fallout 1 & 2 were dark and complex and Fallout 3’s were just fucking corny.

Getting a radioactive STD filming porn or being a gimp to a super mutant if you don’t beat them at arm wrestling is complex? lol

I don’t know about complex, but pimping out your spouse is pretty dark (though it’s mostly played for sex jokes so I doubt it’s intentionally so).

There was nothing complex about sex workers in Fallout 1 and 2, they were either in the background or used for sex jokes.

Killing hookers in New Reno also gave you positive karma for some reason.

I played through the main quest, all the factions, and a lot of the side quests. I don’t remember anything about the story. The ship builder was very cool but felt completely separate from the rest of the game, and flying ships was boring. Gunplay was pretty fun but the brain dead AI ruined it. I’ll try this DLC anyhow, but more out of some morbid curiosity than actually being excited for it.

Starfield did a good job at taming my anticipation for TES6.
