Not enough to follow them around, but i would see them if they came to town and I’m kind of looking forward to watching the Netflix show when I’m home alone Monday.

“THAT SHIT MAKES ME BATSHIT CRAZY”

I had a coworker who would often play that song, and it wasn’t that bad

I’ve enjoyed Nickelback for decades now. Creed wasn’t bad either. And fuck I loved smash mouth, I would’ve gone to a Nickelback or smash mouth show if it weren’t prohibitively expensive to go to any show these days.

I really like smash mouth. I saw Creed with oleander and our lady Peace. I can also listen to some Eve 6.

People just like to pile on the hate train because it’s become on-trend to do so. I like their music as well. Some of their tracks are really quite good in my opinion.

Yeah, good band overall. I’d say they’re a natural evolution of the kind of hard rock AC/DC founded. All the members are at least skilled on their instruments, the lyrics vary in quality, but never get bad. And when they’re at their best, they did the kind of balls out rock that gets butts into seats, and then jumping out of them to enjoy the show.

That’s kinda what rock n roll is about, imo. Yeah, rock can be deep, it can be emotional, it can be damn near anything. But it started as party music, and that’s something that doesn’t always get focused on the way nickelback does it. It’s music to get hyped to and cut loose with.

    Nothing wrong with that, ever.

Yeah, they get formulaic, but there are a shit ton of bands that have succeeded doing exactly that. Aerosmith comes to mind, so does AC/DC for the most part. Nothing wrong with a formula that works.

Psst. There’s a psychological phenomenon that makes polarized fans more loyal. Nickelback enjoys this part.

And I’ve got like 7 CDs on my shelf.
