A former Freshman at Lehigh University was arrested and accused of faking his father's death to secure a full scholarship to the school, officials said.
I realize this is a case of a foreign person committing fraud to get into an American university, but I honestly thought going into it that kids are that desperate to pay for college these days without taking out punishing loans. And I’m sure there are American kids desperate enough to commit fraud for that purpose too.
